More Tips for Monkey Bread

Expanding on your great recipe for Monkey Bread, I keep the cinnamon sugar mixture in a "saved" bread bag in the freezer. I mix enough to have for several uses and drop the cut up biscuits right into the bag and shake them to coat.

You can use butterscotch pudding mix in place of the cinnamon sugar, cut down on the brown sugar just a bit.

Also to make a savory variety try using garlic powder, rosemary, some grated cheese, and chopped onion, instead of the sweet ingredients.

Editor's Note: To use the pudding mix in place of cinnamon sugar, use regular "cook and serve" Butterscotch pudding mix (just the dry mix), NOT "instant" pudding mix. Over the years this has become more and more difficult to find in the grocery stores so when you do find it you might want to buy a few extra. The cinnamon sugar is a very good (and much cheaper) alternative! :o)
