Waldorf Apple Salad with Cranberries

Unlike traditional Waldorf Salad, which calls for raisins and mayonnaise, this delightful recipe uses dried cranberries and low-fat yogurt instead!

Ingredients:

1 Granny Smith apple
1 Macintosh apple
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. dried cranberries
6 ounces low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Toast walnuts in skillet making sure not to burn, cut apples into little pieces and place in bowl, add cranberries, yogurt, cinnamon and toasted walnuts. Mix and serve.
