"Ollie the 'Oliday Owl"
Ollie will bring a smile to the face of children and adults alike. He's easy and inexpensive to make in any color combination you desire. Crafted from felt squares found at Walmart or any craft store, embroidery thread, sequins and fiberfill stuffing.
Enlarge template to 125%. Use the template to cut Ollie front and back from felt. Cut his wings from a contrasting color of felt.
Sew wings to Ollie's front using a running stitch and 3 strands of contrasting embroidery thread. Be as decorative as you wish.
Cut eyes and sew onto head, Sew sequin in the middle of the eye.
Match up Ollie's front and back and sew a running stitch around the edges through both front and back. Leave the bottom open. Stuff with fiberfill. Sew bottom closed.
Glue on beak.
Sew colorful string through the top for hanging.
What a holiday whoot!
