"Wine Cork Memory Ornament"
This is a special ornament for my husband and I because with him in the military we had the opportunity to live in California for the last year. We've been all over wine tasting, including Napa Valley, and just had an amazing time together learning about how wine is made, bottled and distributed. It's been a memorable year for us that we wanted to memorialize onto our Christmas Tree.
It is very simple to make. You just straighten out a jumbo size paper clip and using needle nose pliers, push it through a cork. On one end you add beads and then twist the end of the paper clip into a small loop to be hung with. On the other end you add jewels (I used necklace jewels from Michael's craft store), and then bend it under and voila, a cork ornament! Couldn't be any more simple! =)
