Frugal Fall Fun: Learning is Forever

"Learning is Forever"

This fall I retired from public school teaching and I had time to learn new things!

One of the most frugal things I’m doing now is making sourdough bread every week. It’s not nearly as hard as I thought it would be and I found out that sourdough is really good for you.

When my sister saw this photo, (she lives 9 hours form me) she asked if I could make sourdough to bring to mom’s Thanksgiving dinner. I made a nice multigrain boule, like this photo, and two rustic loaves, too. The bread was a big hit with the extended family.

Learning is forever. Happy Fall, y’all, from this frugal and happily retired Kentucky girl!
