Farmhouse Macaroni and Cheese

Here's another version of baked mac n' cheese. This one is topped with crushed cracker crumbs. Another family favorite. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 lb sharp cheddar, grated
1/2 lb elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1 T. butter
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. fresh black pepper
Sprinkle garlic powder (to taste)
1/2 sleeve finely crushed cracker crumbs

Directions:

Toss cooked and drained macaroni with butter. In a small bowl, mix half the cheese, milk, salt, pepper, eggs, garlic powder and crushed crackers. Mix with macaroni and pour into baking dish. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until golden on top and let set for about 1/2 hour.
