My tip for budgeting is for dining out at restaurants. This can get expensive for a family of 4. There are always new restaurants opening and rather than paying full price to try a new restaurant or even an old favorite restaurant, I always check for restaurant coupons online before dining out.

Restaurant.com allows you to purchase dining coupons which can save you at least 50% off your meal. You purchase a coupon for your restaurant choice, pay for the coupon and print at home and take to the restaurant with you. They also run specials so you can sometimes purchase your coupon for even more than 50% off which is another savings. These also make great gifts for friends or family.
This site has made our dining out more family-budget friendly. They are available in many states and cities. We've even purchased for cities that we will be traveling to and dine and budget at the same time. Very user friendly and works great for us.
