I'm a college student who barely has enough cash to pay for books but I always manage to get a night out on the town. Radio stations and newspapers are the key!

I'm not saying you have to listen to the radio to win contests or read every newspaper. Hop online! I visit my local radio stations' and newspapers' websites and see where they will be in the area.
Usually they are stationed at free events that they give directions to. Plus, when you arrive at the event they give a gift if you mention you saw the ad for the event on their website.
By doing this I get to go to free, exciting, and unique events and often get a gift too.
The gifts that our radio station gives out are sneak peak movie tickets so I get yet another night out for free!
