How to make a keepsakes box

This craft project makes use of colored papers and ribbons to transform a shoebox into a sweet treasure box for your toddlers' keepsakes. As this is a simple project, you can involve your kids as well.

Instead of throwing away shoeboxes, they can be recycled and transformed into lovely treasure troves for toddlers.

Items needed:

A shoebox
Colored papers
Ribbons
Glue
Scissors
Computer
Printer

Instructions:

Wrap the shoebox with your favorite colored papers and glue, then secure two ribbons at the side of the box with additional glue.

Print the words "My Little Keepsakes" and paste them at the bottom center of the box. Your children can also help think of other phrases that they like.

To make the decorative flower, you need to have strips of paper for the petals and a small round shape for the center. Fold the strips of paper into half and
paste them on the underside of the round shape. Your toddlers can also add stickers to decorate the box.
