Frugal Fall Decorations: Nature Basket

Submitted by Sara Campbell of Ankara, Turkey

Nature basket 1

"Basket that Brightens"

I found this cute white basket, but wasn't sure what to do with it. A walk in the forest with my daughter solved it. She and I picked a bag of pine cones, snipped some evergreen, and brought home a few clusters of berries.

What to do:

1. Place a potted plant in the center.
2. Fill the basket with pine cones to surround the plant.
3. Add touches of evergreen and berry sprigs.
4. Replace the live parts if they dry out. So far, ours still look good after a week.
