"Pop Art - Head with Blue Shadow"

I had a supply of children's face paint on hand and we found some wonderful websites that showed you how to paint pixels and outlines that would transform you into living pop art.

For my costume in particular, I modeled myself after the bust created by artist Roy Lichtenstein: Head with Blue Shadow.

Additionally, for my costume I sculpted a blond hair headpiece made of paper, wire, paper clay, and acrylic paint. However, I recommend the much easier alternative of buying a blond novelty wig if possible. My fiancé and I found our accessories (his white hat and my dress) at our local Goodwill. I used electrical tape to add bold borders and details, while my fiancé drew details onto his hat with a sharpie. We also created our own dry erase conversation bubbles to finish the look.
