Free Gift Cards and Rewards

Money Saving Tip of the Month (featured column)

With gas and food prices always on the rise it is nice to get something for free.  I have been using MyPoints for several years now. By signing up you will typically get several emails daily and each email that you click on gives you 5 points in your account. When you visit the site there are also short surveys and questions you can answer for 5-10 points each or sign up for newsletters or trial offers and earn points that way.

For every person you refer to the site you can earn points as well. These points continue to rack up until you redeem them for gift certificates. Generally, you need about 1400 points to start redeeming for a $10 gift card. The best part is that you don't have to buy anything to get the points.

If you decide to do online shopping through the site you will earn even more points based on the amount of the sale. Points earned vary by participating retail sites. They do offer quite a few retailers with free shipping and have a variety of different offers. Save gas, stay home, and shop and earn free gift cards in the process. They also have contests where you can earn points and other prizes from time to time. Around graduation time they were giving away a car.

I love MyPoints! I have redeemed my points for quite a few restaurant gift cards over the years saving us some money. In fact I just redeemed my points for a $25 Rainforest Cafe gift card to use on our vacation. Not into eating out, then redeem you points for gift cards to gas stations, Walmart, Target, and drugstores or donate your points to the Red Cross. Another good thing, they don't charge you shipping to send your gift cards. Can it get much better?
