Homemade Christmas Ornaments: Measuring Spoons

Submitted by Misty Rushlow of Nebraska

Gingerbread family ornaments 1

"Measuring the Gingerbread"

My father always loved watching me sit and paint. He passed away this past year, but before he died he was able to watch me create these cute little gingerbread ornaments. He just loved to look at them!

Instructions:

Take an old set of measuring spoons and put masking tape over the spoon handles. You will then want to spray primer on the backs of the spoon (the round area). Once dry, paint the round area with brown paint. Then paint the sweetest gingerbread faces onto the spoons. Then hot glue a fabric bow at the top of their sweet faces. So simple, but yet so adorable!!!
